With ever-changing décor and fresh splashes of colour, as a guest in our Nuhnetal Stuben you’ll enjoy regional and seasonal cuisine in a stylish atmosphere. You’ll also discover, through historical photographs, our family’s special connection to and love of winter sports – accompanied, of course, by the odd anecdote or two.
We’re passionate about quality, both in our décor and, above all, on your plate.
That’s why we cook fresh, rustic meals for you with a bit of flair, using as many regional ingredients as possible.

Discover our breakfast
Whether you fancy something hearty, sweet or healthy and light, our varied and generous buffet is the perfect way to start your day on holiday.
Choose from a wide variety of muesli, savour some freshly baked bread and rolls, and enjoy whatever takes your fancy: a wide variety of cheeses and cold cuts, quark or yoghurt, your perfect breakfast egg (served as a fried or scrambled egg), as well as sweet spreads and dried fruit.
Regional and seasonal
Quality and sustainability are close to our hearts! That’s why, right from breakfast, we bring you sustainable and regional food straight from the producer to your plate.
Our regional partners and products include:
- Fresh baked goods from the neighbouring Krämer bakery
- Ham and sausage specialities from Schinken-Alm in Neuastenberg
- Fresh eggs from the Rörig-Plenz farm in Fleckenberg
- Milk and dairy products from the Willingen farm dairy
Of course, we’re always on the lookout for more local products so we can keep offering you the very best quality that simply tastes great.
Half-board and dinner
With the morning ‘Nuhnetal-Post’, you’ll not only receive tips for day trips and the weather forecast, but also a culinary choice: shall we treat you to dinner this evening, or would you prefer to eat out?
Conveniently, we’re within walking distance of Winterberg town centre and many restaurants and bistros. But to be honest, during the high season, finding a free table in a restaurant can be a bit of a struggle. That’s why, every day, you can decide based on your own plans whether you’d like to have dinner with us – even if you haven’t booked half-board.
How to let us know
A soup to start, a salad buffet, a delicious dessert and a choice of two main courses – if you let us know by 12 noon that you’ll be dining with us, a table laid for you will be waiting in the evening. For up to 10 guests in total, we’ll put together a delicious set menu; for 10 or more guests, you can help yourself to the varied buffet.
Our bar
How about a nice drink at sunset or after dinner? Round off the evening in style with a nightcap at our atmospherically lit bar.
Connoisseurs and enthusiasts will be in their element here! Take a seat on our cosy fur rugs and choose from around 50 carefully selected varieties of gin, whisky and more. Whether you’re looking for something unusual, regional or international – discover our highlights or try one of our recommendations. Of course, we’ll also serve you a freshly tapped beer or a fine wine to round off your day’s holiday in style.

Celebrate with us in a charming setting and a cosy, family-friendly atmosphere, whether with a large or small group of family and friends. Depending on your preferences, we’ll put together either a varied buffet or a delicious set menu.
